This was a sombre day, dealing with difficult topics but punctuated with humanity and humour. Adis was an excellent and informative guide who took us through the countryside and pointed out where things happened during the Bosnian war. Adis answered all of our questions, pointed out things of interest and kept us informed of the past and present situation within Bosnia and Srpska. The genocide museum in Srebrenica was outstanding. There were many people crying during the film outlining the timeline of events in Potočari and Srebrenica. The cemetery was also very moving. It was harrowing to hear what happened in Srebrenica but necessary. There were many things I was unaware of.
