I booked a tour to see the War Tunnels with this company, whom I found in one of the leaflets at the tourist information office. Booking was easy - I just walked in and booked my place and then returned later on at the allotted time. It was a small group of just four of us with a young female guide who was very good. Driving through the city past the various parts that were worst affected was useful as it meant I knew where to go when I wanted to explore more thoroughly on my own - which I did later on in the week. There is omly a small part of the tunnel still left, but what we saw was of course interesting - it waas dangerous but very important work which allowed not only supplies but also poeple to get in and out with news of what was happening, ;providing a vital lifeline and supply route.
