The personal nature of hearing out guides stories of life during the siege and being in the battles was also credibly moving. Seeing the supply tunnel (800 meters) was sobering. This war was complex an nuanced and it really help to understand what happened.

Il valore aggiunto del tour è stata la nostra guida, che avendo vissuto gli anni dell'assedio di Sarajevo ci ha raccontato la sua esperienza diretta

Our guide Adnan was a war veteran who gave a personal depth to the tour. He was very well informed and open to questions of all sorts. Probably the highlight of our stay in Sarajevo.

Hafiza from Info Bosnia Tours recommended us to take this tour and it was really good. Our guide Adnan drove us and another couple to historic sites like the tunnel of hope, the bobsled track, and an old building that was a strategic point during the siege. But most insightful was the thorough conversation during the tour with our guide Adnan. He is a veteran that has worked as a peace activist after the war: his perspective on how to process and overcome the cruelties and live together after the war was truly inspiring. Thank you Hafiza & Adnan for this experience!
