I could not recommend this tour, or this operator, more highly! Despite a last-minute booking, Asim at Info Bosnia was accommodating and efficient in setting up the logistics for the trip, and the trip is amazing- we covered all the main sights of Southwestern Bosnia in a single day. While the main attraction is Mostar, the other sights were equally worthwhile, and the waterfalls were unexpectedly enjoyable. Our guide was Kerim, and he was both informative and upbeat throughout the nearly 12 hour tour, and no question was too esoteric for him. I really enjoyed the format of being in a car, as opposed to a minivan or bus, as it felt more like my local friend was showing me around, despite not knowing a single Bosniak before the trip! The small group size also enabled more flexibility at each stop. Thanks again to Info Bosnia for helping me to discover your beautiful country.

I was born and I live in NY and I wanted to go somewhere different for my last vacation. My friend suggested Sarajevo but I wasn't sure at first if that was such a great idea, boy was I wrong! You are in for a real treat in Sarajevo. We stayed for a week in this wonderful apartment which was ideally situated, only a few blocks from the "old town" and original, premier trading port in Sarajevo which dates back to the Middle Ages. The apartment was a spacious, one-bedroom with a very comfortable, queen-size bed, a living room which included a pull-out futon which could easily fit another two people, dining area, small kitchen, bathroom and foyer. It was perfectly decorated with images of the old city, very clean and even included a wash machine, private parking space (also electrical charging station, I think?), and every amenity you could possibly need. The apartment was in a very secure, three-apartment, walk-up building in a lovely, quiet, local neighborhood (5 minute walk into the city center). We had a wonderful time walking into the city every morning for breakfast and several times throughout the day for sightseeing and meandering through the fascinating streets, lined with shops, patisseries, coffee houses and restaurants. Great food, wonderful, welcoming people (everyone spoke English too) . . . a real historical and cultural gem. We also took a FREE city tour from Spirit Tours (office right downtown and very helpful), which oriented us and gave us a nice overview of what we wanted to come re-visit on another day. The day trips to Herzegovina were also magnificent - Mostar, Konjic, Blagaj (Buna river spring) , Pocitelj & Kravica Falls. Hosts Hafiza and Abdullah are excellent. Visit BiH now before it becomes too commercial, once it is discovered it is sure to become one of the hottest tourist attractions.
