Our guide was wonderful and put so much of himself - his experiences - before, during and after the war which were interesting and enlightening. He really brought the sites we visited to life, and has a very positive outlook on the future. It's a heavy tour, no doubt about it, but Adnan was able to find humour even in the horrors of war. I am a better person because of this tour and highly recommend it.

Adnan was the most incredible guide, and it was extremely insightful to be guided by someone who experienced the war firsthand. It can be quite a heavy experience but extremely eye opening. I think everyone should go on this tour; Adnan went out of his way to show us extra things along our route not included on the tour that he felt important. This is someone who doesn’t see this as a job alone and you could really feel it. 100% recommend this tour!
