This was a fantastic tour - informative, interesting and a fascinating insight into the experiences of people living through the Sarajevo Siege in particular. Enes our guide was really outstanding in explaining the history, the lead up and the reality of the experience. He was also really friendly, recommended some local places to eat and some local dishes to try. After the tour, we felt that we had a much better understanding of the history of the city and the country as well as having had the opportunity to see some really fascinating sites.

My Sarajevo trip was during the low season, and I ended up being the solo tourist. No complaints from me as the tour was fantastic! My tour guide (& driver) Enes was obviously extremely knowledge and full of facts, figures and anecdotes. But what made the tour extra special was Enes was able to strike the right balance between stories that covered the horrors of the recent wars, with those that were uplifting, funny and even some personal stories. I also thoroughly appreciated Enes’ frank thoughts on his home country, which nicely rounded out the tour with a local perspective of how BiH is going as a country. Lastly, Enes’ recommendations for local cuisine (& drink) were spot on and I thoroughly enjoyed my outings of Bosnian food Ćevapi (Bosnian sausage), Uštipci (fried bread served with cheese) and of course piwo (beer)! No hesitations in recommending this tour, with special thanks to Enes for one of the best tours I’ve ever been on.

We did the tour with Enes and had an absolutely amazing experience. The tour was really educational and we learned a lot on that day. Enes was outstandingly knowledgeable and shared many personal anecdotes which helped us to better understand the historical context. Can highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Sarajevo.

Assolutamente da fare! Per comprendere le dinamiche della guerra e visitare alcuni luoghi difficilmente accessibili a piedi. Guida preparatissima e appassionata.

Great tour. Very informative. I was involved in the US Air Force bombing campaign that help liberate Sarajevo in 1995. It was great to finally see it in person. The tour guide was very informative and took me to several Serbian artillery positions we had targeted. It was fascinating. I strongly recommend reading the Cellist of Sarajevo before you go. It really brings the war to life.
