I truly didn’t know what to expect when booking but this trip is absolutely amazing. The guide was incredibly knowledgable about the country, history, and local culture. The stops were stunning and unique. Each one provided a unique look at Bosnian history and daily life, and we passed by even more sites than are listed on the itinerary. And we had the BEST cevapi for lunch. If you want to see Bosnia at its finest, this is the tour to take.
First of all, the service of Info Bosnia Tours is extraordinary! I arranged the trip one day earlier and it went as smooth as possible! Additionally, I traveled solo and no other agency would do the tour for only one person.
The trip itself was absolutely amazing and I can recommend it to everyone. My tour guide was a very patient and caretaking person. He knew really a lot about the different areas of the tour and provided a lot of knowledge about the country and it's history. The waterfalls and fortresses were beautiful to visit, although I think it is enough to visit it only once.
I appreciated Mustafa's knowledgable tour of both of these towns - there was a lot to see & we took the full day with the impressive Jajce water mills (my highlight), the large falls and fortress there, and (after a good meal in Travnik) the historical fortress from which we got great photos. We even were able to stop by for some Kiseljak water (free from the taps of town) on the return. I recommend Info Bosnia Tours (and this tour if you are interesting in exploring more of Bosnia and its rich historical heritage).
Our guide spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. His driving skills were superb and he was very considerate as he left more legroom for the passenger behind the driver's seat. During the tour, we received a surprise free lunch which wasn't included in the tour! We had a traditional Bosnian meal beside the river near the Blue Waters stop.
The tour enabled us to visit key places of central Bosnia in a day trip. We even caught a glimpse of the famous Bosnian pyramids from the highway.
