Når vi ankom turistinfoen ble vi veldig godt tatt imot av damen som jobbet der. Man merket at det var av deres interesse at vi skulle få mest mulig ut av oppholdet.
Selv turen var interessant da vi følte vi hadde vært i flere ulike deler av byen da vi var ferdig. Vi hadde en guide som selv hadde vært soldat under krigen. Han var flink til å forklare og fortelle. Han hadde tålmodighet med oss som ikke hadde så mye bakgrunnsinformasjon fra før av, og han var hele tiden åpen for at vi måtte spørre om alt mulig vi lurte på.
Guiden viste oss viktige bygninger og steder da vi kjørte gjennom byen. Vi fikk også se naturen på nært hold da vi kjørte oppover fjellene, og vi fikk se byen fra ulike utsiktspunkter.
Denne turen anbefales om man vil få med seg mye av byen som ligger utenfor sentrum på kort tid. Og man får en god oversikt på historien fra 90-tallet.
The tour was great. We were taken to everything listed on the website and even though we were going a bit over time with all of our questions, they made sure that we saw everything. Haris our guide was extremely knowledgable and kind. This tour helped me personally to put a lot of the pieces of Bosnia's history together. The drive itself is beautiful and the stops are meaningful. I would recommend this tour to other travelers, especially those of us that may not have too long in the country. I felt that this tour offered a good opportunity to learn about the important recent historic moments in the country while also learning a bit about some of the more typical day to day facts from the guide. Highly recommend!
The tour was very authentic, with deep insights into the time of the siege of Sarajevo. History is best experienced when it is conveyed by eyewitnesses. Within 4 hours we got to know incredible places and learned a lot about the past, but also about current events. The group was very small, so there was time and space for questions and direct exchange with our guide. The guide was very nice, had chosen the perfect stations for us and despite the rather long tour, the time flew by. Absolutely to recommend!
