Having memories of watching newscasts of the Bosnian War back in America, I was very interested in seeing what had really gone on, what the situation had been, what was life like during the terrible years of the siege of Sarajevo. This tour covered all of that beautifully. My guide Mustafa was a Bosnian fighter during the Siege - his family home was in Sarajevo. He knew firsthand all that went on and where everything happened. I ended up remembering many of the key names and places that the tour covered. Mustafa also imparted a wealth of information that of course never made it into the newscasts. And he was very willing to answer all the questions I had. The Siege of Sarajevo was a quarter century ago, but it was still very fulfilling in a way to learn what had happened - and from a first-hand source at that. The Sarajevo Under Siege War Tour not only exceeded my expectations, but it seemed like it was an essential piece to understanding the city as a visitor.
I took this tour through Info Bosnia on 3-10-2019 and our tour guide was Edin who mastered covering the history of the siege during war times! I was amazed with all the information and personal family memories he freely and bravely shared with us. As far as I can remember, he said he studied journalism so I hope he writes a book one day about Sarajevo during war times.. Thanks Edin!

Did this tour on 27th September. Our guide Edin was keen and made sure that we understood every aspect of this tour. It was clear that he was drawing from the experiences of his close family which made it more authoritative. There were a lot of questions which he answered very patiently. Sad as the facts are about the siege, this tour is not one to be missed. Well done Edin and Info Bosnia Tours.

This was one of the most informative and interesting tours I have ever done. Our guide Mustafa had lived through the siege and therefore had first hand knowledge about the subject. He answered our many questions and had a sense of humour, despite the grim subject matter. I knew a fair amount already but still learnt loads and got to see some fascinating sights around the city.
If you're visiting Sarajevo, I'd highly recommend you make time to do this tour!
Edin was an amazing and informative guide. He explained a complex subject very clearly
and really helped bring to life what it was like to be in Sarajevo during the siege. I’m in awe
of his energy. Thank you Edin and viva Elvis!
