It was a beautiful sunny day in Sarajevo for our tour, but the topic was very dark and heavy. Enes was an amazing guide whose depth of knowledge, careful and thoughtful presentation made understanding this war/genocide history memorable. His love for his city and his passion for conveying that love to his guests enhanced this tour and will stay in my mind long after. I am grateful that I got to be on this tour and would recommend it wholeheartedly. Everyone should do this tour in honor of those whose lives were forever changed because of these events.
Great tour with Assim! Very informative and knowledgeable! Would recommend to anyone visiting Sarajevo.

This was a fantastic tour - informative, interesting and a fascinating insight into the experiences of people living through the Sarajevo Siege in particular.
Enes our guide was really outstanding in explaining the history, the lead up and the reality of the experience. He was also really friendly, recommended some local places to eat and some local dishes to try.
After the tour, we felt that we had a much better understanding of the history of the city and the country as well as having had the opportunity to see some really fascinating sites.
My Sarajevo trip was during the low season, and I ended up being the solo tourist. No complaints from me as the tour was fantastic! My tour guide (& driver) Enes was obviously extremely knowledge and full of facts, figures and anecdotes. But what made the tour extra special was Enes was able to strike the right balance between stories that covered the horrors of the recent wars, with those that were uplifting, funny and even some personal stories. I also thoroughly appreciated Enes’ frank thoughts on his home country, which nicely rounded out the tour with a local perspective of how BiH is going as a country. Lastly, Enes’ recommendations for local cuisine (& drink) were spot on and I thoroughly enjoyed my outings of Bosnian food Ćevapi (Bosnian sausage), Uštipci (fried bread served with cheese) and of course piwo (beer)! No hesitations in recommending this tour, with special thanks to Enes for one of the best tours I’ve ever been on.
