Edin took us on this tour (04/10). He was great - friendly, polite and he gave an engaging and clearly-explained account of the history of the siege and tales from his own family. No doubt his training as a journalist helps. Seeing the sites such as the tunnel under the airport and the positions of the Serb army on Trebević mountain brought things home. We also appreciated learning about the current situation and tensions in BiH. Thank you, Edin!

As with any tour the guide makes the tour and in our case Edin our guide made this one of the best tours I have ever taken. Born during the siege his family's personal experiences along with his deep knowledge of the subject make this one both interesting and moving. The tour is 4 hours long but passed in the blink of an eye. A must for anyone who wants to understand the history and tragedy of this great city and why it should never be allowed happen again.
Amazing trip/ tour with lovely and kind people especially the tour guide- he was amazing.
We couldn’t invest our money better. Thanks for everything☺️

Having memories of watching newscasts of the Bosnian War back in America, I was very interested in seeing what had really gone on, what the situation had been, what was life like during the terrible years of the siege of Sarajevo. This tour covered all of that beautifully. My guide Mustafa was a Bosnian fighter during the Siege - his family home was in Sarajevo. He knew firsthand all that went on and where everything happened. I ended up remembering many of the key names and places that the tour covered. Mustafa also imparted a wealth of information that of course never made it into the newscasts. And he was very willing to answer all the questions I had. The Siege of Sarajevo was a quarter century ago, but it was still very fulfilling in a way to learn what had happened - and from a first-hand source at that. The Sarajevo Under Siege War Tour not only exceeded my expectations, but it seemed like it was an essential piece to understanding the city as a visitor.
