The tour was started from the city center. Dream Balkans Travel representative Asim informed us that we will be guided by war veteran, who knows more than a lot about Sarajevo's siege places of interest and all the 90s war history. Adnan was very friendly and he was ready to share his exceptional knowledge about famous sights of Sarajevo not only related to the war times, but also about history of Bosnia and Yugoslavia. If you would like to receive maximum of experience, I do recommend to prepare yourself with the background for a dialogue. We will surely return there for the next portion of impressions!
Our tour guide, Adman told his personal story of the siege as he drove us to the sights. We learned many aspects of the war we had not known from news reports in the early nineties. It was one of those emotional experiences when you are in complete awe for the strength of the human spirit.
