Omed was a terrific guide. I apologize if I did not get his name right. The 90s were not kind to Bosnia and our guide did a masterful job of explaining - and showing - to us how and why the war occurred. A basic level of knowledge of geography and history of former Yugoslavia is helpful, but not absolutely necessary. Omed explains things well. I especially appreciated his knowledge of law, politics.and Bosnian culture. Sarajevo is a city worthy of another visit and whose story must be told. Thank you so much for a fascinating afternoon.
As long term travellers, we often do a walking tour in a new city to orient ourselves. This was a bit different as we have been in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a few weeks and have done walking tours elsewhere so thought we knew some a bit . Mak was able to convey to us what it was like to be here in the time of war, but in a way that was compassionate and non confronting. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. We feel privileged to have spent time with Mak and absolutely loved his passion and knowledge.
One of the best things to do here. A near on 4 hour tour with very knowledgeable and funny
man named Mac. Definitely recommend

I have done two tours through info Sarajevo , Times of Misfortune with Mak and Grand Sarajevo with Sabrina and found both tours highly informative. Both Mak and Sabrina were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful and made the tours extremely interesting. Their love and passion for their home town and country are both obvious and infectious whilst their command of English ensured that all our questions were easily answered.
What a beautiful city Sarajevo is andirons is made even more so by it’s inhabitants.
Thanks guys!
