Whether you are knowledgeable about the Bosnia War or unaware, but interested, this trip should be compulsory on any visit to Sarajevo. Adnan, a former teen soldier, provides a thought-provoking view of life during that time, at all times without malice. Recounting going to the 1984 Winter Olympics as a spectator at the bobsled track, only to be taking cover in the concrete tube while defending the city seven years later sums up the experience. Highly recommended.

My stay in Sarajevo was truly exceptional thanks to our guide Haris. His care and dedication to our group was remarkable. His ability to understand and meet the needs of each tourist was truly impressive. He was able to capture our attention every step of the way. I did a day trip from Sarajevo to Srebrenica/Visegrad, and one with tranfer in Mostar 2 days after, both with the very knowledgeable and friendly driver-guide Emina.
She was excellent at communicating all informations about the history, war and she answered all (i mean ''a lot''!!!) my questions and was very opened about all of that (which is very interesting since she lived the war from inside), allowing me flexibility in what i was looking for. She was clear up front to find out what i specifically wanted to do, and ensured that i did that and more.
Dream Balkans assured me they would customize our itinerary to my needs and they truly delivered. This tour company is very professional and responds very promptly to any and all questions to tailor the tour to your wishes.
